Dana Loesch Reacts To Outrage Over Her New NRA Ad: ‘It’s the Goofiest Thing Ever’

On Thursday night, Tucker Carlson had Dana Loesch on his show to react to the outrage over her new NRA ad that was released.

Carlson pulled some of the negative reactions, including an article from Mother Jones with the headline, “NRA Declares War on Half of America,” and the following tweets from CNN’s Sally Kohn and Black Lives Matter activist DeRay McKesson:

The Fox News host told Loesch that he didn’t see any “racial overtones” in the ad and asked her if there was any “racial subtext.” The NRA spokeswoman confidently said no.

“The reaction to this is insane!” she reacted. “I’m talking over video clips that show actual leftist violence, rioting, property damage, arson, physical assault, and apparently me condemning violence is what’s inciting and dividing America.”

Carlson laughed at the observation that the ad showed “a bunch of rich white kids setting fire to stuff” and called the accusations of her “defending” white supremacy “insane.”

“It’s the goofiest thing ever,” Loesch responded. She added that when she said ‘clenched fist of truth’ in the ad, it was in direct reference to the “resistance” logo which features a clenched fist.

“When you show the left… when you hold up a mirror and show them their reflection, they freak out,” she stated.

They then turned to a this tweet made by Sen. Chris Murphy (D-CT):

Loesch called Murphy’s tweet “incredibly reckless and irresponsible” and told Tucker that she had received a couple of death threats.

“This has to stop,” Loesch concluded, “and I’m not going to stop condemning violence and it’s a shame that other people on the left won’t do the same.”
