Hannity ‘Diagnoses’ the Media With ‘Trump Derangement Syndrome’ After They Question Trump’s Sanity

On Thursday night, Sean Hannity took on the “Destroy Trump Media” for pushing “a new conspiracy theory” to make Americans think that President Trump is “crazy.”

“Since the biased press wants to pretend to be psychology experts, well we’re gonna beat them at their own game,” Hannity told his audience. “We will diagnose all of these overpaid, out of touch, lazy leftist ideologues that are suffering from Trump Derangement Syndrome.”

The Fox News host accused the rest of the mainstream media of creating a “fake news talking point” after they “failed” to smear Trump for the Russia investigation, for “wanting to start a nuclear war” with North Korea, and painting him as a racist as a way to “delegitimize” him.

Included in his montage were CNN’s Jake Tapper who said Trump’s behavior was “causing great concern,” Brian Stelter who questioned Trump’s “mental fitness,” Don Lemon who called Trump “unhinged,” and Ana Navarro who accused him of having “dementia.” He also included a clip of MSNBC’s Chris Matthews who asked a panel if they thought Trump was “stable.”

“Just when you thought they couldn’t go any lower, this is the new standard on CNN, NBC — which apparently they don’t have standards anymore,” Hannity reacted.

He then went on to diagnose them and held up “the same degree they have,” which was a blank sheet of paper.

“They’re suffering from being a bunch of overpaid, pampered, way out of touch people that have no clue what life is like for real Americans and they’re suffering from Trump Derangement Syndrome,” he stated.
